@TheMaractusMan @AspirinJuice425 I can see that. I get what they were going for by having this wealthy elite group controlling the world and using the civilians as their pawns but it does prevent most of them from getting their time to shine.

@TheMaractusMan @AspirinJuice425 That’s kind of a lot for the Moebius. Most of them are one in done. Outside of N, M, Z, and D he gets probably the most screen time.

@ArtTheGaleWind @AspirinJuice425 The whole gimmick is that the Moebius are stuck in the eternal now. Permanently stuck in time. He can’t age. He’s immortal. It’s why he looks like that. He’s a kid because time doesn’t move for them.

@Sonnie_Slim @BlackMajikMan90 That’s kinda the issue. They’re making a giant game with a huge budget that they need a huge amount of sales in order to make a profit from their ridiculous budget. They’re setting themselves up for failure. Many triple AAA games need a smaller budget

It’s crazy that Donkey Kong is doing extremely well with “only” 4.5 million copies sold, yet EA expects a Dead Space game to sell 15 million copies. Some of these gaming companies are completely out of touch with reality.

@TheAziH I don’t hate it at all but the immense amount of options with all the zonai stuff was kinda confusing for puzzles. I prefer BOTW where you’re given limited tools for puzzles and exploration.

The Zonai come out of absolutely nowhere in terms of lore. The Sheikah tech just vanishes. Rauru sucks. No dungeons. Literally a copy and paste of BotW map, with a few things changed, and with the addition of air islands and the underground (which is also cheeks). Zelda becomes a dragon, and the consequences are explicitly stated that she can't turn back. Turns back anyways. I hated breath of the Wild, but Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece compared to ToTK. The sandbox tech is cool, but they should have just given it to another series.

@RogeeRoger @TheAziH Don’t get the weapon power part. If you’re fusing items onto the weapons (which you’re supposed to be doing) then they’re often way stronger on average then BOTW. You’re not using those weird monsters parts for anything else so might as well

@paintmakesart The issue is that they’re tied to a way worse mechanic. I feel like the G-max forms suffered way more from opportunity cost then Megas. I feel like I’ve never seen most of these guys used.

is it insane to say gmax designs are on average more unique and interesting than megas (excluding coalossal)

@cheesesharts @N_ticx @_claypot They’re not side games. Probably why you didn’t like it, you didn’t play any of the very important games to the franchise. They’re just as important to the franchise as the mainline games. KH3 is actually KH9.

@Spacewarp501 @N_ticx @_claypot I don't count the side games. I was literally 14 when KH2 came out. KH3 didn't come out until I was 30. That's a long ass time. Too long.

@N_ticx @_claypot it took way too long to come out so my hype was both too high and too low so it just ended up being meh to me but it wasn't BAD. If you want bad, try Deadly Premonition 2.

@slushyspark13 @_claypot @N_ticx The level design was pretty fire. The maps were way bigger, we got actual NPCs, and it felt like you got to actually roam around in these Disney worlds. The exception is Frozen but the rest are pretty great.

@_claypot @N_ticx I mean it was a huge disappointment after waiting 14 years for new mainline title. But also the story, voice acting, and a lot of the level design was particularly bad.

@olivecider776 Cause basically everyone agrees that Nohr is the aggressor in this conflict. The only reason to pick conquest is the maps or you like the characters more. There’s no real ethical reason to side with them.

what if we lived in a world where people took nohr/hoshido as seriously as some 3H fans treat what house is your favourite? never heard someone be like: "you like xander? you're a bad person for doing that"

@TacticalFE @olivecider776 I think the issue is that the story is not written for that. Someone brought up how Corrin could easily go back to Nohr because he’s been groomed and emotionally abused his whole life in Nohr. All he wanted at the start was Garon’s approval but that’s not how it’s handled in game

@olivecider776 i've gotten into some HEATED shit when discussing how Xander is actually a pretty realistic depiction of how people will defend their abusers (especially famillial ones)

it’s kind of funny how in birthright you have to fight the siblings you’ve known for your whole life and in conquest you’re just fighting some really angry strangers who know your name

@FreyEmblem @sunshineglade Maybe because Garon is evil and tried to kill you. There’s no ethical reason to pick Nohr in this conflict. It really just comes down to “I like the Nohrian characters more” which is fine but in the story the Nohrian are clearly the bad guys and Hoshido the victims.

@sunshineglade This is why I have beef with the beginning of fates. Like OBVIOUSLY anyone would pick the siblings you know, why would I go with some random people who claim to be blood related to me when I’m with the people I’ve known my entire life??

@ETERN4L_Z0NE The ones banking on their g-max feel really bad now that G-max is gone. But even in SW/SH the fact that you could only have one of your mons be good for 3 turns and only in gym battles before they turned back to shit was bad. Not to mention the opportunity cost

@ETERN4L_Z0NE The Dex is kinda boring because a lot of the evo lines feel incomplete. A lot of mons were intentionally left as a middle stage so their G-max could fill in the rest (sandaconda Alcremie). There’s also some that aren’t g-max that are still missing an evo (Boltund Eldegoss)
