Db3 isnt free. It does not track to her weak side the same way other lows with other characters do. I think the less moves that flip over the better. She can still apply good chip, counters and plus frames and has some pretty crazy moves with install. There has to be a fair amount more thinking with Asuka now. I'm not saying she's weak, but Asuka players can't share the single braincell anymore.

@Mishimaryu1 @SpaghettiRip They should have found a way to take away her gaining install after d1+2 (maybe allowing df3 instead of f2 as a follow-up). And there are other crazy tools that should have been nerfed before d1+2. Now nobody is gonna risk ducking against her, meaning she gets free pokes with db3

Some feedback I could give is that the nerfs to Asuka were really good and more of that would be appreciated across the board. They nerfed her in a way to NOT allow as much snowball offense and reintroduced a key weakness - No flipover from f2 on the ground - No followup in the open from d1+2 - FC df3 slowed, more pushback, less chip - New move ub1+2 nerfs the double spike combo Returning Weakness: No decent power low

There are more players for Tekken Tag 2 at this local in Sydney than for Tekken 8 (shoutouts @ReckFGC and @4LCH3M15T on Tag 2). I visited their local scene last year and it was buzzing. This is sad to see.

My HOPE from Season 3 is that the players who enjoyed playing a simpler poke and defensive style of Tekken will be more comfortable in the game. Less Low Risk - High Reward situations, which means MORE counterplay. We find out soon 💪
