I wonder if Baryonychine spinosaurs could’ve convergently evolved enlarge sails like the Spinosaurus in JP3. Oddly enough, it is modeled after Baryonyx since at the time it was the most complete spinosaur. It would legit be cool if we found a Baryonychine with a large sail

As an owner of several geckos, geckos are capable of shedding their skin on their own given they have the proper care and set up. The only time you should intervene is if the skin is stuck on their toes which can cause circulation cut off

The fact that non avian dinosaurs as a whole were very extinction prone by replacing extinct groups with new groups and that it took the combined effort of intense volcanism and an extraterrestrial rock to take them out shows how absolutely dominant they were in the Mesozoic

Idea: dragons being a polyphyletic group made up of unrelated lineages that convergently evolved certain features. Idk, it’s just hard for me to buy bipeds with winged forelimbs being related to animals with six whole limbs.

Oh yeah, we now got this weird lepidosaur (Breugnathair elgolensis) combining snake-like craniodental anatomy with monitor lizard-like head and body proportions, along with other traits shared with groups like gekkotans.

Dryptosaurus is one of those dinosaurs that’s seriously underrated despite the material. It feels almost like a Bizzaro T.rex, everything the opposite a tyrannosaur would be considering its enlarged forearms and claws.

Dryptosaurus has become a “guilty pleasure” fav of mine. Yes it’s known from shit material, but it’s got a cool history and it is, in theory, an awesome animal. It’s a “miniature” tyrannosaur with big arms. Also it was native to where I live heh.
