@Kvbsnx_ 😂 you throw a ball into a hoop. That is not the same as alpine skiing. Please don't embarrass yourself more than you already have by comparing yourself to an Olympic athlete. Hers is an individual sport impacting no one by herself. It's no one's business or decision but her own.

Lindsey Vonn’s decision was just dumb. no one gonna change my opinion. As an athlete who plays basketball and torn his ACL you are not going to compete on any kind of sports one week after injury. It takes a lot of time to get back in shape, she has 41 yo. Dumb decision.

@JordanSchachtel You have no idea what you're talking about. Olympics allows 11 women per country to compete in downhill skiing. There were 4 Americans competing today; plenty of room for 7 more, but there just weren't any other skiers to take up the spots at this level of competition.

Brave of Lindsey Vonn to give it a go. Though I don't understand why whoever is in charge of the US Ski team didn't bench her for a healthy sub who could compete. I get it, she's in her 40s, last chance, but that's life. If you tear your ACL in training, it's time to move on.

For all you saying oh she shouldn’t have skied with the ACL tear blah blah. She skied twice on it already & came 3rd yesterday in training! It was her hard line to the gate & her right pole wrapping her arm into! It had nothing to do with her knee! So stop with the nonsense!

Lindsey Vonn should NEVER have been cleared to race at the Olympics. Credit to her for toughness but she tore her ACL a week ago. Allowing her to compete was reckless and stupid. Hope she’s okay but that was a bad fall.

There isn't a two per country rule like there is in other sports (like gymnastics) - the limit here is 11 women per country. 4 American women were in this competition - there weren't more than 4 to compete at this level.
