i wasn’t going to commission anyone for a video in the first place, so no artist “missed out” on anything. i made the video because ai tools are free and accessible to me. if ai didn’t exist, i simply wouldn’t have made the video at all. it’s not a case of choosing ai over an artist- the alternative was just not making the content. fuckin’ dullards lmao

@memeslich Darkvision annoyingly makes light emitting spells and tools practically pointless, night becomes toothless and it sucks tension out of any small room. Candescent spells and tools have to be prepared, or use resources and both can easily be snuffed if they don't simply run out.

In fact, the very same root word is used in the Torah to describe the Jewish people themselves. G-d says to the Jews: “And you shall be to Me… a goy kadosh -- a holy nation.” It’s a calling and a responsibility, not an insult. If anyone has tried to twist the word into something ugly, it hasn’t been Jews. It’s been white supremacists and neo-Nazis who deliberately distort Jewish language and culture to push their narratives. That says far more about them than it does about the word.

Jews are trying to say I’m “anti-Semitic” for using the word “goyim” to describe non-Jews. They can call you “goyim” and it’s fine, but if you call yourself a “goy” you hate Jews…? You can’t make this up.
