Custom decal I made on my own that is on the hood of the car, for better visual. Oddly, one of the two cars faster than me on the long run was in the #8 Cheddar paint.

I didn't drive it the way it was advised to, I drove the way that worked for me over a long run and it helped me keep running 30 second lap times even at the end of a fuel run of 60-65 laps and ultimately lap the field since the only 2 faster on the long run wrecked out.

Just won my split in tonight's #iRacing #World600 #NASCAR. First win in Officials and only my 5th Official race in the last 2 weeks after not racing on the platform for 4 years. I feel proud of this but have to give credit to that @TeamContigg setup. Did wonders.

@sarahdavisagain No matter where we are from, who we root for on the weekends, or the non-racing stuff that enters discussions sometimes, when tough times hit the community everyone seems to come together. Never was a fan but was excited to watch him race against Brexton in Trucks eventually.

@akascarletVT @demenishki This is why, as a fan of NASCAR all my life, I just don't interact with it on here about 99% of the time. I just follow the proper reporting channels and people to keep up with things I can't see on the broadcasts.

@demenishki This happened to me with NASCAR 🥲 very briefly tried to get into the sport since I like other motorsports but holy shit the fans made me have zero interest in it altogether…I know it’s not all of them, but I had way more bad experiences then good ones and it put me off

i’m not gonna lie after reacting to the amazing digital circus and being introduced to it. i like the show but i can’t stand the fan base at all. they are insufferable and make any criticism of the show / characters impossible cause they take it personally.

@viotubing I keep asking myself where it's going, but I honestly don't know. Showrunner kind of sucks at ending things. He created Supernatural and the ending to that show sucked. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

@RacingRT1 With wins being worth so much now to keep that emphasis on winning, if a driver has a hot streak in late Summer with wins, they probably could make up a large portion of points. Assuming those they are chasing don't also have a hot streak with consistent good finishes.

20 years later and this question has become relevant again. How far back in points does a driver still have a chance to make the Chase?

@de_Lauto @stankRat_ A poll that Nikita did either in Dec or Jan, I think, was in favor of PvP with somewhere in the 50s for PvP and 40s for PvE, like 53-47 or 56-44. I don't recall the exact numbers though. And that is purely with the Twitter community so could still be way off on the numbers.

@stankRat_ What do you think the PVP PVE split actually is? I’m PVP only and don’t watch PVE content so i wouldn’t know, but I assume 80/20 in favor of PVP would be a conservative estimate.

If PvE didn’t exist, splitting PvP between seasonal/non-seasonal PMCs with separate queues would not be an issue. But, PvE exists, and has significantly split the player-base; splitting PvP a second time is concerning. I think people aren’t realizing when the bulk of casuals gets frustrated dying on their seasonal PMC cuz they’re hard stuck using a small capacity MP5 with pst rounds, or cuz they hardly get any experience from tasks and it’s taking forever to level up their traders, they’ll stop running their seasonal PMC to run raids on their non-seasonal PMC; before, they had no choice, if they want to play tarkov, they return to the queue with everyone else, but now they’re given options which may result in seasonal lobbies becoming quieter, faster. Hope I’m wrong. If seasonal content greatly incentives players to keep queueing their seasonal PMC, this won’t be an issue. If it’s just an achievement, and a couple of new tasks, it won’t be enough. Also, may need to change how we prestige; if Kappa is still required, change some tasks gatekeeping casuals, e.g., Test Drive 1-3, from PMCs to targets; change Insomnia PMC count to 10, from 25; remove shooter 8 and psycho sniper from kappa requirement. Gotta incentivize casuals to keep grinding for kappa instead of them dropping out after they hit level 2, and level 4, traders.
