So effectively Britain is paying China to take the Island. It reduces down to that in its simplest terms. Who are these people governing us?

Psalm 40 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.

I felt very emotional when I read this post written by my son. He remembers who I was; a frightened, ill, shell of a person, hanging on to sanity by a thread. But I didn’t save myself, I didn’t have the strength or the ability to drag myself out of the pit that I was in.

Birthday today.. always a day for reflection. I’ve smiled, made jokes and appreciated the people beside me.. but inside I feel awful because of where we are as a nation.. This photo.. it’s me. (One of my favourites, when I was really alive..).. A few years back now, stood in front of a British War Memorial somewhere in the desert, Iraq.. and I ask myself.. what was it all for.. #StarmerOut.. #Judas..

The reality of these verses is unfathomable to me. Yet this is our God and as true for us today, as it was true for Joshua. The Lord our God, fights for, and is with his people. @Scriptures2023 Hi James, the Holy Spirit always prompts that desire for God first because God wants us to grow in knowledge & love for him. To understand our need for salvation. We are chosen. A special people. It’s amazing!

Deut. 34. What an incredible experience it must have been when the Lord met Moses on the top of Pisgah to show him all the land he was giving to his people. It must have been covered with the glory of God. Far from normal. Then Moses died 120 yrs old. Eye undimmed, vigour unabated. Its unimaginable. I love our God. 🔥🕊🔥

Wouldn’t it be great to have a UK wide supermarket chain that only sells UK produced food and with higher supermarket purchase prices given to farmers. It would also be more environmentally sustainable due to lower food transportation mileages compared to imported overseas food.
