@TeebsBeebs the nest was on a stem of a weed due to the nests structure it probably wasnt a hornet but paper wasps.

Pulled some weeds and accidentally kicked(well pulled in this case) a hornets nest. Thankfully I only got stung once. Nest was pretty big though. Like golf ball size.
