@Mo_Aziz17 It's very likely that a player with 10 seasons under his belt is going to drastically improve on things that he has been poor in for the past 10 season. I'd say that this is a lot more likely than a youngster to get better on things he is not currently good at

On young players, it's important that, despite potential and talent, you're always realistic about the progression you see to justify continuing. Keeping players entirely on potential is as bad as keeping others based on experience.

@bailey_wynne2 Once again, u r suggesting Savio is potential only and growth is linear, but im reality it isn't, youngsters will have good and bad seasons, it's only normal, especially with all of the injuries he had, making the season very stop starty.Racial abuse and death threats didn't help

@bailey_wynne2 If u r suggesting that Savio is only potential than u r having a "the club cant be wrong" mentality, this season alone, Savio had 5 or 6 games where he showed what he can be, and it was great, but I guess whatever the club wants to do is right innit. Last season he was great also

Plenty weren't fans of Doku in the earlier years, not that I'd agree with that, but I'm sure most would agree, he'd almost always impact the game off the bench, as an example, so you had something to hang onto as to where his future goes at the club. Savinho only has potential.

@theskybluetimes Lucky for us, its not like Donnarumma often misjudges the path of the ball in crosses, so we dont really need to worry about him coming out of his line and missing the ball. Its not like there is a 7 minutes compilation of that from this season alone going around

As with Donnarumma, it's no surprise that Trafford opts for the punch in this situation, despite not being able to clear it outside the box. You're not able to come and claim these. Unlike earlier in the season (Fulham away), the team is set up well to clear any loose balls that land in the middle of the box.

@Kelkster04 Foden is not competing with Silva and nor is Reijnders, Nico O has been the best FB in the league, so I'd say he is doing fine. Nico G has been tried in the 8 role, but he struggles to create passing lanes and ability to be progressed to him, and u can't sacrifice this ability

and we still wasted almost 4000 minutes on him?? Part of a transition is phasing players OUT of the team when you know they are leaving. Other players who WILL be here next season needed those minutes to develop...

Claiming that relational (non-zonal) attacking is a 'subset' of positional (zonal) attacking is like saying M2M (non-zonal) defending is a subset of zonal defending. Such a proposition betrays a significant misunderstanding about the meaning of these terms.
