The amount of AI generated, feel-good short-form content is really appalling. Believe it or not, there's actually real feel-good stories out there, so why doesn't the algo show that instead (facetious question)?

@SpaughtFire With how much hate ive faced growing up on top of the homophobic comments ive gotten as an adult I couldn't help but just become numb to it, no bs my wifey and I JUST had someone being incredibly rude to us for no reason today whilst out for dinner

Struggle with this one a bit.

I might actually having had this issue *a lot* in the past! OBS locks to the "nearest ingest server" by default, which isn't necessarily the best one. There's an app called Twitch Test through r1ch that searches all the locations near you and tells you the bandwidth and quality of each. If you find with with 10k+kbps and a quality score of 97-100, that's a pretty stable location. You can switch it from default to that location in OBS instead of letting OBS decide for you. Not fool proof by any means but it's helped me in the past, especially since I live in the middle of nowhere and sometimes have to get creative with my connection.

Anyone have a solution for dropped OBS frames? Mine are non-stop and making streaming impossible. I'm honestly out of ideas on how to combat it 😭

@1LeggedBanditVR I've always had a better experience with virtual desktop. Was it better on the Quest Link?

Do any Quest Pro users who are wired in know an alternative to this or is it just suck it up and use virtual desktop

I've been exercising 5 days a week for the last 4 months in a row. Not a single day missed, and with diet! Overall, I'm pretty proud of myself. Though, while my stamina increased, so did the number of times I make old man grunts when getting up. I get called old enough man...

@VeraVii_ Your feelings are more than valid, but let me spin this another way. The self-promotion channel in our community isn't necessarily just for someone to promote their own content and try to grow. It's for me. I use it to find new streamers and artists to visit.

May I vent about something? I may delete my self promo channel in my discord server. I truly love celebrating others and supporting my community.. I just.. I dunno.. I am a touch frustrated because the people who post there aren't active anywhere else in my server, hell they don't even visit my streams. They paste their links and go. (To clarify, it is not that they have to come to my streams. I'm just explaining and using it as an example.) It is just frustrating that people just paste their go live stuff there and then that is it. It is like..crickets elsewhere. It's like.. I am sad because I have tried planning fun hang out nights and no one shows up but they just post in the self promo area. That's it. I planned a RE9 night and only 2 people showed up, which isn't inherently bad.. it is just.. Sad. Especially when I put the effort in. I want to do community nights in my server. But how can I when no one really shows but people are quick to use that channel only.. I dunno. I'm sorry for ranting. I just feel.. sad and a bit defeated and a little lonely at times. Am I doing something wrong? Am I not good enough? What can I do to liven up my server? Do I just give up? I don't want to.. 🥺
