Korea’s four major agencies, YG, HYBE, SM, and JYP are teaming up to launch a massive new K-pop festival aimed at surpassing Coachella, the world’s largest music festival. the joint project, called “Phenomenon” will feature artists from all four agencies. Chairman Park Jin-young has set the goal of building a world-class K-pop concert venue and creating a global festival that goes beyond Coachella. after two years of preparation, the festival will be held annually in Korea starting December 2027, then expand into a worldwide tour of major cities from May 2028.

@hyvnjinerr @KingZahyd @pinksview I said stray kids are not THAT big in Korea. They are globally yes 100%! There are groups that are bigger in Korea though, some that might be not as famous globally.

everyone always draws that “europe according to kpop companies” map so i just turned it around and left all countries that kpop companies never consider to show even better how little of europe gets covered…and mind you: europe has a 3x bigger population density than the us.

i hate living in europe as a kpop stan like wdym i can’t go to a fan meeting or a concert at a random weekday and go to fan cafes or buy an album for only what 15€??? like damn thanks for nothing i guess
