Huge congrats to great colleague @dr_carina_c_ , who worked hard to bring @MarianUniv 's Summer Scholars Program to life. We are PAYING students (and faculty mentors!) to take part in mentored research experiences this summer. Includes campus housing and travel/research funds.

@Spears_Lab @KatelynJButler I've had a manual defrost Frigidaire model that a local appliance store special ordered for me for several years. It was about the same price as a fridge at the time.

Folks in the know- I am looking to grab a new -20 C freezer (manual defrost, probably chest-style?) for the lab, hoping to avoid overpriced sci-tech suppliers. Any recommendations?
