In a world of dragons, chimeric beasts, and fiends, I feel it's always best to include real-world animals to balance the scales. Pleistocene animals exist in Hestia alongside familiar and fantastical beasts. That includes Smilodon fatalis.

So, here I am. If you have reached the end of this series of tweets, I would be very honored if you would join me on this journey as I get The Spectra Saga off the ground and published.
Thank you.

I am also joined in this journey with artists like @TalesofKaimere, Cyrilcynder studios, @Kat2nite and Nyverin. Without these people, I would not have amazing creature and character art to show.
So, I know many of you are probably wondering: "Why give this random novella a shot?"
While I know the story might not be for everyone, I will do my best to explain my philosophy and how this would translate into a story that you would enjoy.
The mogao is a marine dicynodont found in the Trakaiam Seaway. They are the only member of their lineage in the known world. Like so many animals in this habitat, mogao are specialized seagrass grazers.

Another piece of art from @TalesofKaimere for The Spectra Saga.
This time: The Jackalope.
Instead of a jackrabbit with deer horns, the Saga's Jackalopes lean heavily towards deer with legomorph qualities. Which is why the Doe is bigger than the Buck.
