@mask_bastard Steam has a better revenue split for developers, steam has better sales, steam has a better UI, steam has more players allowing for easier connectivity, epic has a history of taking advantage of every little company they can to make as much money as possible. Should i go on?

@UsagiKaede1 Its "bad" because people are bad. "Early-Game Deadweight" not an issue if you have enough lands/draw youll always get more than you need. "Colorless Mana Only" so is sol ring but people dont seen to have an issue. "Inconsistent Ramp" again only inconsistent if build incorrectly.

@OniRayoh91THM @UsagiKaede1 It comes on turn 5, its not a bad card by any means people just build really bad decks, skimp on land count then blame the land. If you have a half decent deck with a solid mana base amd more than 1 piece of draw youll never run into an issue with it.

@UsagiKaede1 Because it often tends to be a dead card during the early-game when most people are still setting up their mana?

@minokalu @Ihaveacoconut @NacioMartinez Even much more so if youre a threat or knowingly the better player as people will be less likely to make a deal with you on that foundation alone.

@minokalu @Ihaveacoconut @NacioMartinez If youre this dumb in games i cam see why it doesnt work for you. because naturally and instinctively people dont want to take the less efficient route and lose things/board presence. Getting someone to not kill your thing or let your through takes skill and negotiation.

@minokalu @Ihaveacoconut @NacioMartinez Me and my pods here play to win. Ofc primary goal is have fun but its no holds bared if you can kill then kill if you can win then win. We play mostly B3-4 games go quick and were ruthless. People play to have fun thats just how we have fun. 90% of pods i play in are like this

@Ihaveacoconut @minokalu @NacioMartinez But if you playing to do good and actually get wins then theres much more you gotta play around and watch out for. Politics are strong but its gonna gonna win you a game unless youre really good at it in which case is a form of skill expression in the format.

@Ihaveacoconut @minokalu @NacioMartinez 60 card your hardest thing is knowing what your op is doing and playing to your out around that (which is hard fs) EDH you have to do that but to 3 people instead of 1 while protecting your board and advancing your game. If playing EDH for fun not wins its no contest 60 card.

@minokalu @NacioMartinez To the avg person that doesnt matter that got to play their timmy dragon but any good player having fun in the format is definitely taking all these things into account and having to compensate for them.

@minokalu @NacioMartinez Theres politics yes but that in itself is a skill. Noone is gonna give up dmg or a killed creature unless you can make it sound good. And deck building is so much harder. You dont get to have multiple spells and if you dont build it well the deck wont work. Much harder than 60.

@The_Tahoth @NacioMartinez The big issue and why commander is so big rn is pricing. The avg joe cant just go buy a 40 dollar standard deck and compete at the highest lvls and its even worse for other formats. When they can just buy a 25$ deck and have fun in any bracket in EDH. And proxies.

@NacioMartinez Mengu does it well, its why hes goated. Mostly tounge in cheek hate on the format not players. The problem is for every Mengu there are 50 people just being dicks to commander players, which as it turns out, doesn't make people want to drop commander for their favorite format.
