One time I was walking a project site & one of the tradesmen yelled something sexual at me. He didnt know I was the owner. That was his last hour working on my site. This is why we need more women who’ve divested from patriarchy in management roles.

As someone who left a male dominated field, there was some sexism, yes (mostly from boomers), but more importantly, the men expected the women to bust their ass 60 hrs a week despite biological and hormonal differences. Men expect women to cortisol maxxx in these fields.

A mother goes off on her son’s Pre-K teacher (who is white) for sending notes home when he cusses in class.
The teacher always censors ‘b!tch’ or ‘fu#%er’ in the notes, but now the mom is mad because the teacher didn’t censor the word ‘nigga.’

Hard to believe this is true but it is. Alana Odysseos was 3 months pregnant when Shanie March stabbed her 23 times at her home in July 2024. She stumbled out onto the street and told passersby that he was the one who did it. He calmly walked away and left her dying in the street. The sad thing is that Shaine March should never have been free at that time. He was given a life sentence for the 2000 killing of Andre Drummond at a McDonald’s in Denmark Hill. Yet the prison authorities decided to release him, just 13 years into his sentence. He was found guilty of the murder of Alana and her unborn child and given another life sentence, with a minimum term of 42 years. Conservatives pushed for this to be changed to a whole life order which has just been granted. He should never see freedom again. Too late for Alana.
