The solution is not hatred toward poor people trying to survive. The solution is better governance, stronger economies, border management, skills development, and regional cooperation so African countries can all grow together instead of competing in anger. Let South Africa also travel far and wide as well as other Africans.

About a year ago when I entered Rivonia Village News Cafe I was served by foreigners. Popped in tonight and it’s all South Africans bringing my platter and drinks. @JacintaNgobese you may not see it in real time wherever you at …but listen to me ..::it’s working!!!!

Many foreign nationals actually create businesses, employ locals, pay taxes through VAT, and contribute to the economy. If someone is working legally and adding value, the focus should be on growing the economy and creating more opportunities for everyone, not turning Africans against each other. A struggling citizen in South Africa has more in common with a struggling Zimbabwean, Nigerian, or Kenyan worker than with the politicians and elites benefiting from division.

Kicking a can down the road, when you know no one will pick it up. Other countries actually deport illegals regardless of nationality, here we see sad scenes of vigilantes.

The fact that corrupt SAn gov issued them with documents they weren’t supposed to doesn’t mean SAns must/will accept, so they will fight everyone involved starting with the low hanging fruit.

In many cases this practice is in direct conflict with the country’s labour and immigration laws as well as the constitutional framework governing lawful employment.

And if they had a skilled visa,they would be working proper white collar jobs.If not its illegal

According to South African law, that waiter’s employer must demonstrate that Ragnarson from Congo has no rival in South Africa.

The solution to unemployment is not fight for crumbs with poor immigrants. The solution is tighten immigration control and ensure the influx is tamed. The reason I brought examples of those countries is because they have a grip on immigration and foreigners have a significant role in building those nations.
