@ManaByte Sure you may pay more for Game Pass over time, but about 25 bucks a month is easier on people per paycheck than paying 60 to 70 bucks for the game full price

@ManaByte Nobody wants to talk about the Game Pass success stories. Descenders has been on Game Pass since almost the beginning and the publisher said that sales quadrupled after it was added. The issue isn't Game Pass, it's that games are becoming too expensive for people

I still haven’t seen an explanation as to how Doom: The Dark Ages being in Game Pass stopped people on PS5 or Steam from buying it.

@SquareRootTree @ManaByte I disagree because PC Game Pass is only on the Xbox app, once a game leaves that service are you really gonna start from the beginning again on Steam and lose all your progress or are you going to buy the game on discount on Xbox for PC before it leaves?

@ManaByte Game pass should an only Xbox feature. PC and everywhere else games could only be bought. This will give some reason to own an Xbox while also making sure they are multiplatform

@Pirat_Nation I mean this was obvious, Nintendo is not discounting digital games, they're upcharging physical games

A former PlayStation executive says players shouldn’t expect digital games to get cheaper once physical discs are gone. Speaking to Insider Gaming, former PlayStation Store boss Gordon Thornton said publishers decide game prices, and the industry would “prefer to maximize revenue however possible” instead of cutting prices. Thornton said publishers have never wanted digital games to be cheaper than physical copies because they want to keep prices the same across different stores and regions. He also said the extra money from digital sales helps pay for the rising cost of making modern games.

@DekeSlayer I really wish they would just skip a year and rebuild NHL from the top, I don't even care if it has less features, the fact that we're still using the 8th gen debut game as a base is ridiculous

@mcquack306 Not to mention you need a PS3 or Vita to download PSP games and we don't know if that'll still be possible when the stores close

@mcquack306 I think the issue is preservation of those games. I personally believe that not even Steam is a good option but Xbox does have a better track record than PlayStation for allowing you to keep your owned games.

The difference is clear when you see that the amount of PS4 titles playable on PS5 outnumber the total titles playable on Xbox, all generations included. Then you factor PS3 purchases do carry over with PS1 classics purchased like Resident Evil, Legend of Dragoon, etc.

@K__Med He started off good in the 8th gen, but I think he eventually tried giving more power to Sarah Bond to set up his retirement and it blew up in his face

Call me a conspiracy theorist but the plan is to make all physical media extremely unappealing so that people will have no choice but to buy everything digital. Games, movies, TV shows, all of that so they can charge you to “own” it again and again

@the_det_times I don't care if he didn't like Yzerman, he could've worked out something to get us something good in return for him rather than go to teams that don't need him to win, if he plays another game in the Winged Wheel I will not support this team until he is gone

@Wolffman96 I think Yzermans prospect pool was as good as it could be, but there's no denying that besides the playoff drought, Yzerman is the main reason players wouldn't come to Detroit. I just hope we still get rid of Larkin as in my opinion, that ship has sailed

Things Yzerman failed at it. -Gave you the terrible contracts of J. T. Compher and Andrew Copp. -Couldn't develop Sebastian Cossa. -Muitple, mutiple failed second half's of the year. -He truly never gave Detroit an actual goaile. It was just musical chairs. -Signed the likes of James van Riemsdyk or Travis Hamonic as free agent moves -So many failed prospects in GR. #LGRW #NHL

Yzerman had to go sadly due to his reputation with players but i swear to God if Chris uses this as an excuse to try to keep Larkin I will not support this team until he is also gone #LGRW
