But Spirit was already falling apart: — Losing money since 2019 — Billions in losses — Model getting crushed — Debt piling up Then fuel prices spiked and buried it. That’s not a healthy airline getting killed. That’s a failing airline losing its last lifeline. Those aren’t the same thing.
