Fala meu povo , venho aqui agradecer o carinho de vocês, pois sábado foi uma noite histórica para mim. Última luta no meu país, meu filho lutando, passou um filme da minha vida… Sei que alguns falaram que a luta deveria ter sido mais agressiva, mas cada luta tem a sua própria dinâmica. Escolhi estar no ringue com um adversário importante na minha história. Eu poderia ter lutado para vencer mas preferi fazer desse encontro uma homenagem à nossa história, e por isso não levei o cinturão. A gente vence de muitas maneiras na vida e estar ao lado de todos vocês nessa noite foi a maior vitória de todas. Foi incrível me despedir dos ringues brasileiros com tanto amor. Amo vocês.
