Everything I've heard about Nolan's Odyssey plot not only kinda just sounds like a very stripped down version of The Odyssey itself but feels like reheating Oppenheimer.

Just kinda at a point where it’s healthier to just say “I want y character” instead of “I want y character instead of x character” ya know That said I don’t think putting all the eggs in one basket/team is the best option either.

I feel like people take the phrase “we want more characters outside of just X-Men added to Rivals” and equate that to “you want no X-Men in Rivals” and those are two very different statements

@SpiderKnightART Honestly my thoughts exactly, ultimately it’s possible to want a roster that balances both X-men AND Avengers characters (and even include stuff from other factions like Spiderman villains). Dunno why people on either side are framing as you can only have one or the other.

If I had a nickel for every X-men villain that debuted as a Carol Danvers villain I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice (not really cuz the majority of her solo was by Claremont)
