It turns out my Ultimate Tier Game Pass had lapsed 2 months ago. As a busy dad with limited game time, $360 a year just doesn’t make sense right now. Will be sad to see it go. I also dropped PS+ awhile back so this isn’t really unique to Xbox. I just don’t console game as much. I’m always on PC these days (and I’m a penny pincher.) If I ever need either service I just turn it on for a month at the lowest tier these days. It is what it is. I’m cheap and the value proposition just isn’t really there for me personally. 🤷 If I want a game, I’ll just buy it or subscribe for a month as needed. tldr; $30/month is simply too much.
