FWPD stated they are sharing this information to correct "dangerously false narratives" circulating online. According to police:The Dispute: Ms. Grayson entered the lobby at 8:09 a.m. to dispute a drive-thru order and began berating a 17-year-old employee. A 20-year-old shift lead intervened.The Altercation: Physical contact began when Ms. Grayson forcefully shoved and then struck the shift lead. A physical fight ensued, during which Ms. Grayson pulled a large chunk of hair from the employee's head. The Aftermath: After separating, Ms. Grayson sat at a table and later laid down on the floor at 8:22 a.m. Employees checked on her and brought her water before an officer arrived and found her unresponsive. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Current Status: FWPD Homicide Detectives submitted the completed investigation file to the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office today, May 19, 2026.
