If the SPFL don't show some balls and stand up to Celtic on this nonsense there will never be away fans at another league fixture when we play each other, ever again. It will be ruined forever over them trying to gain an advantage in the first title race they've faced in years.

@potato69424 @TheParkheadF Except they didn’t invade the pitch first. Rangers fans did when they scored the handball goal. Right in front of the Celtic fans too and winding them up. If that didn’t happen I doubt any Celtic fans would have been on the pitch. It was a response to that.

Let’s get one thing absolutely clear for those choosing to ignore the facts. Celtic were in discussions with the Rangers hierarchy regarding the banning of the Union Bears and the Union Bears only following their behaviour at the recent Scottish Cup meeting at Ibrox Stadium. Celtic’s request was based on health and safety concerns. Rangers refused. You’ll hear talk of “sporting integrity,” but let’s not rewrite history. Celtic banned their own ultras, the Green Brigade, for nearly six months over behavioural issues. That’s consistency, whether people like it or not. Celtic made a targeted, reasonable request. Rangers rejected it. So if the outcome is a wider ban affecting the entire Rangers support, that responsibility lies with Rangers and their decision-makers not Celtic. Plenty will try to spin it otherwise, but the reality is simple: deal with the individuals causing the problems, and this situation likely never escalates to this level.

@rangersfcsa How about rangers police their own fans responsibly. It’s not unreasonable. If you cause trouble in any other business , you get banned. You can’t throw flares and attack members of staff and not expect it. The spfl will do nothing, as it’s a safety matter with lots of evidence.

@LetsTalkGers Here’s a question. When rangers scored the handball goal about 20 of their fans invaded the pitch and were giving the Celtic fans what for. If that doesn’t happen, I’m not sure Celtic fans go on pitch at the end. I’d never seen Celtic fans on pitch at ibrox and vice versa.

This is laughable. There’s simply no way this can be allowed. This would give Celtic a serious advantage and goes completely against sporting integrity. The SPFL have to intervene here and block this.

@RangersFC I’m not sure what the problem is. Celtic banned their own ultras for unacceptable behaviour and it took months before they were let back in. Asking rangers to ban their ultras for the trip to Celtic park after their recent behaviour seems a reasonable ask to me.
