Holy moly! - a mother from Clearwater Florida just bought 3 issues of Daredevil 1 blind bags from Emerald City Comics for her grandchildren and got two of the chase covers. Before the store owner could get to her, the kids were coloring in the covers with crayons. The store offered to buy them back from her in spite of the fact that the kids colored outside the lines.

@theposearchives I end up doing drawings of models doing everyday things. More often than I care to admit. Sitting in a chair drinking a coffee. Standing at the stove, putting on a jacket, climbing a set of stairs, descending a set of stairs while carrying something. That ‘boring’ stuff

@jpalmiotti When I was reviewing comics a few years ago, I was much much more taken with indie books. Yes, there were the post-apocalyptic tropes, yes, the dark edgy creepy stuff, but still, SO much more thought, and love was evident. Truly original ideas were being written and drawn there.
