This is why I left the Catholic Church. They insisted that my mother, in her 80s, give them 10% of her living allowance or she would not be able to be buried when she passed.There are a lot of great churches out there, but the greed has taken over a good portion. Just look at our own backyard and you will see the massive manipulation being used to gain profit.

Horrifying. A woman in Turkey was forced to marry the man who raped her. He then raped their 4-year-old daughter, and the court dismissed the case.
She started protesting and demanding justice. After that, she and her daughter were both found dead!

@SpiritusComics @JMCDelingpole Well the satellites in geostationary orbit are over three times higher than that, at 22,000 miles. These are the ones that transmit the TV signals to people's satellite dishes, amongst other things.
So we do have man-made objects "truly in space" by your definition. 😉

The moon however is at around 400,000 km.
