@SpitfireTraders I set my stop where my strategy says im wrong and then i define my position size based on my predifined risk (1R). Is that the way you do it, or are you recommending something else?

Your stop loss placement should answer one question: Where is this trade idea WRONG? Not "where can I afford to lose to." Not "where looks tidy on the chart." Where is the idea invalidated. That's your stop.
