This should have been a slam dunk. Casey is an interesting character with a conflicted back story they should have been able to utilize, but killing his wife off was an immediate mistake and turning it into just another procedural was a terrible choice. Even having the presence of Rainwater should have kept interest, but CBS TV was a BAD choice for this. Dutton Ranch looks and feels like an actual Yellowstone Universe show, this does not.
