@Spl4tticus just like… the way women have been historically demonized for behaving out of society’s high expectations, especially in regards to mental illness.. venus has no one to vouch for or stand by her and is turned into the ‘villain’ while mercury is the hero of the ‘narrative’

I May just be insane but I feel like there is potential angst in Mercury having companions in Psych 2 whilst Venus had to traverse the catacombs alone…. #thinking

@vegvisirism I THINK I GET WHAT YOU MEAN… I’ve also always felt like the way the Four treats Venus feels like a sort of punishment…. Like they knew they couldn’t manipulate or control her so they’re making all of this extra painful for her. Just look at what they did to her people..
