Additionally it has no effect on smell, just the taste. So you could still smell steak but still have it taste as the food item chosen.

Question of the day: What's one food/snack you're alright with tasting for all of eternity regardless of what you consume? Ex: Everything tastes like chocolate: Food, drinks, etc. and yes- you could eat grass or consume cleaning supplies and taste it too.
