Great season for @TroyTrojansMBB, but they ran into a Big Red buzzsaw today. Nebraska, the team and the crowd, was just too good. Huskers win 76-47 for the program's first NCAAT win. Troy will have to wait till next year to try to join Alabama, Auburn, UAB, South Alabama and Alabama State as in-state schools that have won in the Big Dance.

"I would like to thank the good Lord for the opportunity to just have your guts absolutely ripped out. It stinks, but I told our guys in the locker room, they're not defined by this basketball game.
They played an amazing team. Nebraska is one of the best teams. I've been doing this since 1998. They're really, really freaking good."

Troy coach Scott Cross said Pryce Sandfort is probably the best shooter they've faced. "Can't give him any daylight." He was watching him at 4 a.m. timing his shot and had it leaving his hand in 0.3 seconds.
