#NUFC The club hasn’t released any statement. Do they think we’ll just swallow this and move on?
Eddie shouldn’t step foot in the club again. He’s lost the dressing room, the board, and the fans.
This decision shouldn’t be taking this long.🤷🏻♂️
Very good player. But this season he’s been selfish. England fans can now feel what we feel with him which is rather than pass/cross he shoots instead. Hope he realises sooner rather than later this is about the team not him as an individual. Same with Gordon, not a team player but a selfish one
@Mrjamieohara1 Don’t matter who coaches that team, it’s a team full of players that want to get relegated so they can force moves to better clubs, such as Brentford, Chelsea, Newcastle, palace etc
Most official titles in football history:
49 — Alex Ferguson (39 years).
40 — PEP GUARDIOLA (15 YEARS).*
35 — Mircea Lucescu (41 years).
29 — Valery Lobanovsky (42-years)
Pep Guardiola 9 titles away from equaling Sir Alex Ferguson’s record

@FabrizioRomano Yeah, great at winning with teams with unlimited funds. Fergie done it with Aberdeen and took over manutd when they were pure garbage then built them to giants….i hate manutd but credit where its due

@phil_from_NG@NUFC Hey bro, yeah I will at some point. Boxing sucks ass for a while now so haven’t had the motivation to do it again. But I will my friend 👍
@SkySports_Keith Pricks on here acting like NUFC can replace him with Pep or Enrique. Sack him we will end up with another Bruce, so STFU you ungrateful plastic cunt fans ⚫️⚪️
Eddie Howe says “blame me” after derby defeat to Sunderland:
🗣️ “Very painful, painful for supporters. They're the ones I'm thinking of. Very little to use as an excuse. We expect to be criticised so I understand the reaction at the end.
🗣️ “I'm fully committed to the job. I'm disappointed with my delivery today and this week. Today was even tougher than Barcelona.
🗣️ “I absorb the blame — I won't be deflecting it to players until my last breath. It’s going to be a painful few days for me.
🗣️ “It’s not a head loss. Our technical delivery was off today. We missed our midfielders, so it left us unbalanced. We made the game too much like they wanted it.
🗣️ “We never want to go through a hostile reception from crowd. I understand the criticism.”

@Scotthowaythel1@MsiDouglas STFU. I hate the fact ungrateful wretches like you watch my team and act like a fan. Always moaning and never happy. Just fuck off will ya
Eddie Howe: "Very, very painful. Most of all painful for our supporters and they're the ones I think about now. I've got very little to use as an excuse. Once you haven't performed and you know how much the game means you have to accept the criticism.
"I understand the reaction at the end of the game."
"I'm fully committed (to the job). I'm disappointed in myself and my delivery over the last week." #nufc
@SkySportsNews@stevewraith As a NUFC fan I see Burn as a legend after last seasons performances along with the cup win. But in truth this season he’s been terrible and doesn’t deserve a place in the England squad (unless a couple of injuries).
"I want to be there. If I don't get this chance, it's not going to happen." 🏆
Newcastle's Dan Burn admits he's "desperate" to represent England at the World Cup 🏴
Totally agree with this statement. Also agree with TG on the Woltemade misuse. Gordon isn’t a striker and never will be. Newcastle allowed the hijacking of Etetike and allowed the sale of Isak to follow when they could’ve said have Isak earlier but allow us Etetike. So we got NW, so use him properly and instruct players to cross the ball to him for chances rather than allow them to freeze him out just because Gordon doesn’t want striker scoring as he wants that role…so maybe it’s time to make money on selling Gordon.
Eddie has given us CL football and won a cup, so these fans who call for his head are an ungrateful disgrace. This season has been horrible, but so has a lot of teams, something about this season for most teams feels off.
Hopefully we get rid of players like Willock, Osula, Pope, Gordon and dare I say even Burn, then attack the transfer window early so we have a proper pre-season to practice through balls/crosses etc for our strikers NW and Wissa.
Some fans will never be happy unless we’re on par with Barcelona and Real Madrid etc, even then they’d still complain.
Yes we’ve spent a lot, but we’ve had to play catch up for PSR rules while others have had years head start which has been unfair on us and Villa.
Still time to get a Euro spot so let’s see, if not let’s see how the window goes and next season plays out. If it’s bad end of next season then yeah maybe it’s time for Eddie to go. Until then these plastic fans can get fucked.
A Reality Check: Remember Where We’ve Come From
If you’re one of the few seriously calling for Eddie Howe’s head or complaining after tonight, you need a massive reality check. It is time to remember exactly where we’ve come from and how fast we’ve traveled to get here, we are loyal and passionate to the end.
Look, we have to be honest—yes, Eddie got things wrong tonight and other nights, and yes, players have made individual mistakes. But everyone makes mistakes, from the dugout to the pitch to everyday life. This season hasn't gone exactly to plan in every department, but we should be incredibly proud of how far this club has come in such a relatively short period of time. When you factor in the constraints of FFP and everything else that has been thrown into the mix, what this squad and manager have achieved is nothing short of a miracle.
Not too long ago, our reality was Mike Ashley as an owner and the soul-destroying grind of the Championship. We were playing away to the likes of Rotherham on a cold Tuesday night, praying for a scrap of ambition. Fast forward to tonight: we’ve just been knocked out in the Last 16 of the Champions League against five-time winners Barcelona.
The scoreline hurts, but there are levels to this sport. We’ve gone from the doldrums of English football to competing in the knockout stages of the greatest club competition on Earth. We’ve taken the Toon Army from Qarabag in Baku to Marseille, Leverkusen, and PSG, giving a brilliant account of ourselves every step of the way. Tonight, we simply ran out of gas against a world-class machine. There is no shame in that, and anyone suggesting otherwise has a very short memory.
Now is the time to stay 100% behind the team. The best way to ensure we have a strong finish to the season is to get behind the lads right now. Starting from this weekend, we need to have a really, really good go between now and the end of the season to see if we can get back into Europe and salvage something massive from this campaign.
The European lights are off for now, and the Tyne-Wear Derby is calling. We lick our wounds, we get back to Tyneside, and we get ready to roar the boys on against Sunderland. Forget the chatter—support the team, back the manager, and let’s win the derby!

Liam Rosenior couldn’t believe Cole Palmer wasn’t given a penalty and started begging for it. How on earth is that not a penalty when there’s clear contact?
@LewisfknMiley They stopped crossing/passing to him for chances. Reason is Gordon doesn’t want strikers to score so it means he won’t play as striker, and Barnes likes to shoot more than cross
🚨🗣️Tonali on Manchester United links: "I am focusing on the game against Barcelona but, it's Manchester united so it's hard to focus right now"
"We will see how things goes but, no one says no to the biggest club in England"
