Boris Johnson made her a Secretary of State and Liz Truss appointed her Deputy Prime Minister. The Rwanda Bill has been at the heart of her government’s policy for the last couple of years. Not only is she ignorant of the country’s capital and not only must she think that Kigali is some ‘other’ obscure African country, but she pompously lectures the opposition on its ignorance of geography. This is the calibre of our post-Brexit government.

@theJeremyVine It reminds me of time I was Marshalling at a kids crit race in Perth City Centre. The road had been closed but pedestrians were circulating. One pedestrian got very cross when I stopped him at the crossing point. He had no concept of how fast these kids were moving.

I was looking forward to taking on Chris Grayling at the next general election His ministerial failures were symbolic of years of dreadful Tory rule and mismanagement. However, I wish him the best in his next endeavours and it is a relief to hear that he has been successfully treated for cancer. I hope he and his family the best for the future. The #Tories will try to keep the seat but I can win - especially if @keir_starmer @edwardjdavey don’t repeat 50 years of their parties’ failures in Epsom & Ewell. Instead, back my candidacy.
