These are WAY too similar for not only conference opponents, but two teams in the same geographic region. All white. Nearly same stripe pattern of thin warm color, thick cool color, thin warm color. Logo in cool color, surrounded by a ring of warm color.

@SportsPSD Agree on Miami and Texas! Simple and plain is sometimes the best way to go for sure. What would you have liked to see Tennessee do with them?

White facemask is a miss. They look too much like the Dolphins. Red or baby blue mask and this would have been considerably better.

@pendingload I did this graphic a couple years ago, so it isn't up to date. But generally, you can see how repetitive facemask colors are for the most part. And how much the few with pops of color stand out.

I would say baseball has considerably less wiggle room traditionally for uniform creativity (home white, road gray, tops and bottoms). They are evolving that, but at least for primaries. But if a team debuted new uniforms that looked nearly identical to an already established uniform in the MLB, I would definitely be critical of that as well. Not because either looks bad individually, but because it is visually boring. 28 of 32 NFL teams have very dark colored, black, white, or gray facemasks. Tons of them look great! I just think it is a big missed opportunity to own your own look.

@KingEdward__ 100%. I would argue the Longhorns and Hurricanes have two of the best helmets in football. Or at least the cleanest. I'm not knocking all white helmets, just that they are overdone and that those two NFL helmets look like clones of each other.

@hkmett51 I agree red is the best choice, purely aesthetically. Either would be a fun decision though. Bright facemasks are woefully underutilized, especially in the NFL. Off the top of my head its Rams, Pats, Lions, Chargers. Everyone else is either a dark color or black/white/gray.

@SportsPSD I can definitely see that, I think it would be great either way. The reason I lean red is because they don't have a red jersey so this way red gets used more and the facemask pops against the white/baby blue/navy (potentially?) jerseys
