🚨🚨🚨NEW ARTICLE🚨🚨🚨 USA Edges Dominican Republic 2–1 to reach WBC Final Team USA survived a tense finish and secured a narrow 2–1 victory over the Dominican Republic in a gripping World Baseball Classic matchup that came down to the final pitch. In a game defined by tight pitching, timely hitting, and a controversial ending, the Americans managed to hold off one of the tournament’s most dangerous lineups to advance. The contest unfolded as a classic pitcher’s duel, with both teams struggling to generate sustained offense. Every baserunner felt critical, and both defenses played clean, disciplined baseball. The United States capitalized on a pair of key opportunities to push across two runs, while their pitching staff kept the Dominican lineup largely contained despite constant pressure. The Dominican Republic never stopped fighting. A run earlier in the game kept them within striking distance, and their lineup repeatedly threatened to turn the tide. Several at-bats throughout the night featured borderline pitches that went both ways, adding tension to nearly every inning as both dugouts reacted to tight strike zone calls. Everything came down to the ninth inning. With the tying run looming and the Dominican crowd sensing a late comeback, the final batter stepped in with the game on the line. The decisive pitch, however, was called a strike despite appearing to fall below the zone, ending the game abruptly and sealing the United States’ victory. Under different circumstances, the moment might have unfolded differently. The automated ball-strike challenge system (ABS), which allows hitters to challenge questionable calls by tapping their helmet, is not being used during the tournament’s early rounds because the technology was not available in every pool-play venue. Although the quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship games are being played in Major League ballparks where the system could operate, the challenge mechanism remains absent. As a result, there was no opportunity for a review, and the call stood as the final word. The game had featured several close calls throughout the night, and it’s possible the Dominican Republic could have used up its challenges earlier if the system were in place. Still, the inability to contest the final pitch left a sense of unfinished business in a matchup that had been fiercely competitive from the first inning to the last. Dominican Republic manager Albert Pujols chose not to dwell on the controversy afterward, emphasizing the bigger picture rather than the final call. #worldbaseballclassic

The hold up on taking Kharg is ensuring that Iran no longer has the capacity to do that by the time we do. It's why we've been saying 90%+ degraded capacity for some time. We are going to get as close to 100% as humanly possible. And they can't just hide munitions forever, because if they stop retaliating while Israel is killing everyone vaguely associated with the IRGC, then they look weak. And that appearance of weakness will kill them faster than any bombs. Just for an example. Their bluff that the Strait is closed? That goes away when they don't muster up some form of response to having all of their personnel assassinated. So they will deplete their munitions trying to maintain the appearance of strength in the face of Israel's attacks. And each rocket they fire just directs the US to another target to destroy. People think these things are entirely unrelated. That we're just bombing away with no deeper thought process. Israel is dropping bombs to obligate a military response. US is dropping bombs to neutralize the latest form of response. When they run dry? We take the Island. Redirect our forces there. And then the regime collapses. Everyone, including the IRGC, knows exactly where this is going.
Winner Investor MD@WinnerInvestor

That'd be the ideal outcome. We take Kharg and IRGC regime falls. 1) How do you think we will take Kharg? 2) Will the world tolerate oil at $150 to $200? When we take Kharg, IRGC will destroy GCC oil/gas facilities too. Personally, I think we will bomb for another 2 weeks and say we're done here, and move on. Iranian opposition is completely worthless. If they had the guts, they'd be on the street already taking over. World doesn't have the guts to tolerate oil at $150 to $200 for 3-6 months.

Here's what he averaged in them: 43.7 PPG - 10.7 RPG - 8.3 APG - 1.3 SPG - 1.0 BPG - 66.7% TS The best basketball any human has ever played and he gets called a loser for it b/c KD & Steph teamed up to stop him. Sad.

Throwback to [2010] @Cabbie interviewing Kobe Bryant 🐍: Cabbie: “There’s conversation about who’s 1 & 1A between you & LeBron.. in terms of who’s the best basketball dude on planet Earth, where do you rank you & LBJ?” Kobe: “I don’t… my peers know where I stand. See I PLAY FOR TITLES, even now you can go back to debate who was better Michael & Magic… some people will think Jordan was better, some people think Magic was better that’s just how it shakes out. But at the end of the day Michael [Jordan] has 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS to Magic’s 5… so that kinda wins the conversation there.” 🫳🏾🎤 ———————————————— We agree Kob, even til this day! Kobe’s 5 rings > LBJ’s 4* 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 > 🏆🏆🏆🫧

@TheSevenSermons @Cabbie Yeah anyone would take Duncan on their team as a top-10 player. Defensively was a force. Efficient and IQ through the roof. Big time player and Lebron handed him his only finals loss.

@TheSevenSermons @Cabbie Did Draymond play game 6 ? Did Draymond play fame 7? And remember at least Curry played. In 2015 Kyrie and Love were both hurt. At the end of the day Curry needed to add KD to a 73 win team to beat prime Bron.

@TheSevenSermons @Cabbie 91 Magic had Thompson hurt and an old team that was over the hill. 2013 Duncan was an All Star All NBA first team All Defensive Second Team Top 7 in MVP voting and had prime Manu/Prime Parker with Kawhi Leonard starting to ball.
