As part of Women in Sport Week, we’re celebrating the incredible performances of women at the 123.ie National Senior Indoor Championships this past weekend 💜 Kate O'Connor capped a remarkable weekend, leaping 6.50m for a PB in the Long Jump and championship record, moving her to third on the Irish all-time list, after running a huge 60m hurdles PB (8.21) on Saturday. Sarah Lavin claimed her eighth national indoor 60m hurdles title, while Louise Shanahan timed her 3,000m finish to perfection (9:22.47), adding it to last year’s 800m title. Kate Veale delivered another masterclass to claim her tenth consecutive national indoor title in the 3,000m walk. These are just a few of the standout performances, across the weekend there were so many other incredible efforts from women showcasing skill and passion across all events.
