Update: Went to see the specialist in Cardiff today and it’s good news. I have low risk Myelofibrosis which means I do not have to have any treatment (atm), they are just going to monitor my bloods every three months and see how it progresses. @JontyEvans I can see it on both sides. Spurs have the option to act like a serious club regardless. He will be on a long contract, stand firm regardless of how the season ends, make him an important player and build around him. Let's see 🙈

@SpotliteOnPL Good info. My original post was driven more by the concern that relegation combined with strong interest from big European clubs will mean we lose him, when had he stayed and played, things would be different and him leaving would be less likely. Pure speculation on my part 🤷🏻‍♂️

One of the biggest mistakes the club made this season was putting Vuskovic out on loan again. I watched him in pre-season vs Reading. He scored a goal like a striker and looked comfortable as a defender. Now we risk losing him before he even kicks a ball for us in league 🤦🏻‍♂️

@JontyEvans Yes mate, he's brother also plays for HSV but has been banned from playing after failing a drugs test. Very controversial circumstances and the club stayed loyal to him, because of this the Vuskovic family have a special bond with Hamburg which might have influenced the decision

@SpotliteOnPL This definitely helps. With that said I still think they should have brought him back in January, however, that may have been against his wishes and we need to stay in his good books if we’re gonna keep him next season
