@sharrond62 It’s about time there was a decision around DSD and Trans athletes to allow them to compete but not disadvantage others. It’s time for a 3rd category but difficult to see how that would work

Hopefully a few media folk will read this. Presently I am in Paris as usual working for the bbc poolside as I have been for many Olympics now. As gender critical views are protected by Uk law I can express my horror thank fully at the unfairness & lack of safety afforded female boxers here based on the known peer reviewed science & my personal experience of 50 years in elite women’s sport. As well as writing & researching a book on the subject. However I am under a work contract for the bbc so cannot go on rival radio or tv stations during that period. Apologies for not returning calls.

I thought I was seeing a GP. On arrival the lady looked like the ANP I saw before, so I asked, “are you the ANP?” and she said “no I am the clinical practitioner”. So I said, “so not a GP?” and she said “I do the GP’s role”. Anyway, she argued my medical history… 1/3

Signs of a leadership culture problem: - status & grade are everything - high staff turnover, especially staff who ask questions 🙋‍♀️ - bright people go quiet 🤐 - good ideas are claimed by seniors - rule followers are the ones who stay - leaders can’t see there’s a problem 🤷‍♂️

signs of a culture problem: - hierarchy is paramount - image trumps substance - listening is limited & tokenistic - staff have no voice; scared of repercussions - those who speak honestly are ostracised & demonised - bonding comes via othering - leaders can’t see the problem

@alisonleary1 So the brutal truth is that hospitals & healthcare systems have learnt nothing from the Mid staffs inquiry, or if there was learning it has been sacrificed on the altar of financial stability. Pounds are more important than patients.
