@SprayerMate Ignoring costs- Would 3 phase electric pumps be an option (say on a drop deck with a Genset up front)? Hondas have served us well but the risks are adding up; petrol fires from thoughtless hot refuels, noise and poor air quality from fumes.

@DSouth888 Some customers do this and some batch all the chemical into the 1700L tank before the sprayer returns. We build a lot of chemical handlers with 2 pumps one for Chem and one for water. The water pump loads the sprayer while the Chem pump batches the chemical. It’s very fast

@SprayerMate Do you use this to premix all chem into a batch for example a 6000l tank and then suck it and extra water when you are ready to spray?

@Tedthekelpie Hi Sam While they have electric brakes on the rear 2 axles they are too heavy when loaded to be registered.

@MorrisonLachie It’s used mostly in trucks but has been modified to work in static construction cranes and can be tweaked to work in Ag machinery

@SprayerMate Definitely. I wonder how well it would work with how often your eyes are not looking forward with screens, augers, booms etc. to watch

Just wondering if anyone is interested in installing driver fatigue and distraction technology into sprayers, headers or tractors? This tech is commonly used in trucks and can be adapted for farm machinery. Please reply if interested
