It was time for our butterflies to spread their wings from Nursery this morning 🦋🦋

We are enjoying getting messy, rescuing the worms from the sticky pond!🐛🪱

We have set up our very own minibeast cafe in our garden. We are having lots of fun role playing making worm soup and spider spaghetti!🕷️🪱@Springwellpark_

We have had lots of fun in the sunshine. Messy play and a Superhero wedding!

We have had lots of fun sequencing The Very Hungry Caterpillar this week. The children used some amazing vocabulary!

Nursery really enjoyed eating the fruit salad we made for our snack. Lots of us hadn’t tried plums before , our teachers were so proud of us for trying them. We described the fruits as “juicy” “sour” and “wet”. @Springwellpark_

We made a fruit salad with the same fruits from our focus story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. 🍓🍎🍐🍊 We impressed Mrs Blundell with our fantastic chopping and cutting skills using knives! @Springwellpark_

We enjoy Squiggle While You Wiggle in Nursery. We use dance and large movements to help children develop the fine muscle control they need for writing. We learn movements to a piece of music and then use this movement to mark marks. @Springwellpark_ @ShonetteBason

A special delivery arrived in Nursery today! Our very own caterpillars to look after - just like the very hungry caterpillar!! 🐛 We are very excited to watch the caterpillars grow and observe the life cycle of a butterfly 🦋 @Springwellpark_

Nursery have enjoyed pouring, mixing and scooping in the rice this morning. We have heard lots of lovely mathematical language such as “It’s nearly full up!” and “I need some more it is so big!” 💛 @Springwellpark_
