Kingshott continues career defining season. Dayne Kingshott’s debut appearance racing in the Sprintcar division at Kalgoorlie Speedway hasn’t halted his best season yet, picking up a dominant win in the Maddington Toyota Series. Following on from his first interstate win and memorable second to Kyle Larson in the High Limit International final last night’s result brings up win number 8 for Krikke Motorsport in 2025/2026. Dayne now heads into the final round of the Series at Perth Motorplex next Saturday in a commanding position to make it a 3 peat of Championships. 📸 Flash Fotos & Graphix #SprintCarHub

Bogucki’s debut Outlaws podium. It’s fair to say Scott Bogucki has had a roller coaster last 2 years. 2026 dawned and his 3 Stooges #51 team made the big commitment to contest the full World of Outlaws schedule to chase the Rookie title. Florida and February saw three consecutive B Main finishes to begin the understandably challenging task of competing on a national tour. Fast forward to March and a familiar track tonight at Lawton Speedway, Oklahoma and Scott has delivered his career first Outlaws podium. With a previous best Outlaws finish of 5th the South Aussie stormed from P9 start to be runner up to back to back World of Outlaws champion David Gravel. 📸 World Of Outlaws #SprintCarHub

I'm back in the USA and once again with RICO making some content starting with his latest YouTube video from the 2026 High Limit Racing season opener which is now live on his channel. Go check it out and let us know what you think of it. youtu.be/GaGsUfJAcfs I'll be here until World Finals in November which means my Australian Sprint Car season has come to an end BUT it doesn't mean we're done providing insights and updates from the remaining races. Matt will even be travelling to McCosker's Gladstone Speedway for Easter to cover that event and then of course we'll have our annual countdown of the Sprint Car Hub Top 10 Australian Sprint Car drivers from the season. We're 3 nights into a big 87-race schedule and during my travels in the USA this year I wanted to show some behind the scenes insight of what I get up to while here. With that said, I'll be sending out a weekly email to all of the Sprint Car Hub email subscribers starting in just a few hours from now. If you haven't already signed up to our subscriber list you can do so by clicking this link 👇🏼 sprintcarhub.com/pages/email-si… -Toby #SprintCarHub

I might get in trouble for posting this but screw it. Last year when the Rico-TSR thing came about I was tasked with putting together a plan of how it should be announced. That whole period is another story but I created a spreadsheet of how things had to go down. Working around all of our other scheduled races and commitments it included creating the announcement skits, photos, PR, contacting media and more. This is a clip of the video that was the final piece of my plan. Except we never published it. The idea of this video was for Rico to reflect on the news. So inside the gym of his newly built shop, he sat on the rower and I pressed record. The edited video goes for ~17 mins. He explained what this opportunity meant to him and as he got more into it he began to cry. Sitting behind the camera I did the same. It suddenly became a uniquely private and emotional moment. Why? Well I won’t speak for him but my take is this; From the outside you either see his stature or someone who loves to sling merch or both. A couple of things that shouldn’t define him. He works out almost every day if not twice. He is the most personal and hospitable driver I know when it comes to being involved with his team and his partners. He does more promo work and signs more autographs than any other driver. He puts an enormous amount of energy into ensuring fans go home having enjoyed a memorable experience at the races. Between the late nights and early mornings the guy hardly sleeps. Then somehow is left alone to strap into the racecar to make driving the wheels off look easy. And for someone who doesn’t necessarily need to do any of the aforementioned I think this clip is the moment that it finally hit him that after years of refining himself both on and off the track, he was being rewarded. He decided not to publish this video but I think needs to be shown. Maybe one day it’ll make sense to post the full video but for now when you see the defending High Limit Racing champ roll out in the Tony Stewart Racing CarQuest #24 this week in Las Vegas for the ‘26 opener, just know that you’re watching a one-of-a-kind kid live out a dream that he worked his ass off for. -Toby

In the space of two weeks we’ve gone from, “I can’t believe this race doesn’t have a work area!” to “this work-area stuff is ridiculous.” I think a lot of the east coasters just get a little tired and cranky when it runs late for them. For the same reasons people whined during the Classic, I like the work area. But on the flip side, it definitely seems to drag things on when most cars are hell-bent on bending something every time the green flag comes out. If there’s one major difference between USA and Aussie sprint car racing, it’s the lack of respect we have for our own equipment. In the US, if they rub wheels with someone, they have a chat afterwards. Here, it’s normal for half the field to finish on the infield. Yeah, sometimes it means lifting off the throttle and running second or losing a spot. I think that’s what points racing teaches you, and for far too long our racing culture has just been win-it-or-bin-it every night. I’m not sure there were too many cars that had a good, clean race. I challenge any of the 24/26/28 starters to tell themselves that, no matter what, they won’t bend a single thing. Kind of embarrassing to write that, to be honest, but it needs to be said. The whole concept of the work area is to ensure fans see a proper race instead of half the field being wiped out in Turn 1 on Lap 1. It’s not compulsory to use it though 😂 High Limit Racing announced just last week that from 2026 their work area will only be for flat tyres, and teams will be given only one minute instead of two. We’ll see how it plays out, but I think that’s pretty close to what it should be. Would it have saved many cars during the Classic? No. But it does help ensure we don’t have a drawn-out race. Anyway… The feature race was long, but that’s racing. The story of every race is different. Some are green to checker and over in eight minutes. I’m not sure how many years Kerry has left. It was kinda cool seeing him take the kids to school for so much of that race. I genuinely didn’t see his crash with McHugh, so I can’t comment. Some are saying JMac got lucky. I’d say that’s racing. Looking forward to Wednesday! Toby #SprintCarHub
