The US is accelerating the deployment of forces to the Middle East, — Newsmax
Two amphibious groups are being sent to the region immediately, which will have a total of about 8,000 soldiers, including about 4–5 thousand marines.
These are six landing ships, on which marine infantry units and equipment for conducting sea operations are deployed.
Part of the forces is already on the way to the region, including a group with the landing ship USS Tripoli, and a new group with USS Boxer is departing earlier — soldiers' leaves have been shortened to speed up the transfer.
After the two groups merge, this will become one of the largest reinforcements of the American presence in the conflict zone in recent times.

Spanish Prime Minister: US and Israel's war against Iran is part of a broader regional escalation
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez stated that the US and Israel's war against Iran cannot be viewed in isolation, warning that it is closely linked to ongoing conflicts in West Asia, including Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and Lebanon. Speaking ahead of a European Union summit, Sánchez characterized this moment as a pivotal one for Europe, urging leaders to send a clear signal in defense of multilateralism and international law.
He sharply criticized the war as illegal and unjustified, arguing that it inflicts severe harm on civilians, causes displacement, and destabilizes economies. Sánchez emphasized that the European Union must remain united and actively pursue a diplomatic course to contain aggression, rather than allowing further escalation.
Reaffirming Madrid's position, Sánchez stated that Spain has opposed the war from the outset and will continue to do so, while preparing measures to mitigate its economic consequences. He stressed the need for immediate involvement in the diplomatic process across the entire region, warning that the interconnected nature of these conflicts risks plunging West Asia into even greater instability if they are not brought to an end.

And in the NYT, there's an interesting essay by Richard Bookstaber, who claims to have predicted the 2008 crisis and that something even worse is coming.
His column pays particular attention to the private credit market, which grew after the 2008 crisis.
These loans are illiquid and lack transparency, and the borrowers are often tech companies, vulnerable to changes, for example due to the development of AI. With rising rates, investors are already starting to withdraw money, which could trigger a "chain reaction".
At the same time, huge investments in several major tech companies create a dangerous concentration: any problems with them could hit the entire market.
The main idea is that the risks are interconnected: private lending finances the infrastructure of AI, and AI fuels the growth of tech giants, on which the market depends. Added to this are external factors - energy crises, conflicts (Iran, Taiwan), which could disrupt supply chains.
Well, in general, girls, another bubble has been created. And it will burst.

Emirati newspapers: A war without a plan against Iran will cost all sides
🔹The Emirati newspaper Al-Khaleej: One of the signs of a stalemate in the war against Iran is the confusion and contradictory statements of those who make decisions.
🔹After two weeks, it has become clear that this conflict is costly for all sides, as it began without a convincing plan or a clear goal.
🔹The Iranian authorities show no signs of collapse or deliberate disintegration.
