Trump is delighted with Modi and Xi Jinping "Modi is great. President Xi is great. If you were going to make a movie about either of them, you wouldn't be able to find a suitable actor in Hollywood. Take Xi, for example - he has an excellent appearance. He's 6 feet 2 inches tall. A majestic posture. He's confident and extremely intelligent." He didn't mention Putin for some reason.

Zelenksy demanded that Belarus remove the repeaters from the border with Ukraine, which are allegedly used to guide Russian weapons. The head of the Kiev regime claims that these repeaters were used in attacks on the Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Volyn regions. Zelenksy threatened to strike targets in Belarus. According to him, Ukraine has identified objects in the Gomel and Brest regions that help launch drone attacks on Ukrainian territory. He called on Minsk to dismantle this equipment and stated that Kiev is also aware of Belarusian enterprises working for the Russian military-industrial complex.

Iran publishes new rules for ships wishing to pass through the Strait of Hormuz: • Ships are required to submit applications for passage at least 48 hours before arriving at the strait. • For 60 days, no payments will be charged for security, protection, and environmental protection services, and the Iranian government will also provide insurance coverage. • Ships must coordinate their navigation route and passage schedule with the Iranian Persian Gulf Authority due to the "current situation" and "certain security risks" (possibly a hint at the presence of sea mines).

European drivers are stopping to refuel due to a sharp rise in fuel prices. In the eurozone, fuel sales have fallen to their lowest levels since October 2023. Consumers are delaying refueling until the last minute. According to Eurostat, the volume of automotive fuel sales in the eurozone in April decreased by 3.5% compared to the same month in 2025. This is the first annual decline since July 2024 and the most significant drop in the last year and a half. In six European countries, including Germany, Norway, and Austria, a double-digit drop in volumes was recorded. Similar dynamics are observed in the UK: after a strong increase in March, sales in April plummeted by 10% year-on-year.

Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli warned that Israel will "sooner or later" start a war against Syria In an interview with the Israeli radio station 103FM, associated with the Israeli newspaper Maariv, Chikli expressed concern about the Syrian-Turkish alliance and the growing rapprochement between the current Syrian government and Turkey, which is a "strategic rival" of Israel in the region.
