Neco Williams is a left back…. We have Robertson, Udogie and Ben Davies just signed a new deal… Djed can also cover left back well… am very confused by this link unless someone is leaving. Selling Djed after the World Cup displays would seem absolutely brainless to me.

@pokeefe1 Which site did you use for that please mate (for my future reference) as I just googled and showed he played left back mostly last season and ‘covered’ right back.

@SpursNewsSam @JonnySutts A back up player for a team that just finished 17th twice in a row is not a special player sorry. Djed and Neco both quality as home grown as well. Makes no difference.

@SpursNewsSam @JonnySutts What’s their nation got to do with it? Neco just won player of the season ahead of MGW and Anderson at Forest. Djed is second choice for us at right or left back. He’s not a special player by any means

@SpursNewsSam There have always been justified reasons for his departure though. I think he'll be at Spurs for a good few years, I think it will be different with a club that fully backs him.

@Namdalla93 You’re correct but what worries me when we as a club do this with a manager who never lasts .. as is in a season or two he walks and we are back to re building again for a new manager.

@SpursNewsSam Of course. I don't think anyone could argue that's he's not good enough. He's a damn good player. But just not in the mould that RDZ likes as a fb. I'd prefer to keep him but it's De Zerbi's team and if he wants him sold, he's got to go.

@SpursNewsSam He isn't a De Zerbi fullback though, he was always going to be on the chopping block if De Zerbi got full control. Good player Spence, best defensive FB we have but that's not a RDZ FB.

@JonnySutts Djed can play both… swapping an England international for a Welsh and would probably lose money on it. I know opinions on players is personal but for me it’s a very bad trade / decision

@SpursNewsSam Neco can play both sides Would appear to me a case of cashing in on Spence whilst his stock is high and replacing with a fullback that can play both sides
