A lot of these lists have a couple players missing that I feel are gonna feature a lot more in these lists by next season. One at CM/DM and another at CF.

@AbdulwasiuMesut They're already known quantities tbf. The two I'm on about will be u16s next season. Ibrahim and Annous will probably (hopefully) get good loans and play really well 🙏🏾

@EthanFromOnline Even if (probably when) they get better they should still be looked at as poor allocation of funds because it's not what they needed at the time. Waste of a season

You think all these signings Newcastle made will still be seen so poorly in a year or 2? I feel like Elanga and Ramsey at minimum should be decent over time.

When I think of Alonso's time in the PL, first thing that comes to mind is Benitez vs Mourinho & the animosity between LIV & CHE. Harsh to draw comparisons with CHE appointing Benitez cuz they aint the same club but its feels wrong. The equivalent of seeing Giggs as ARS manager.

@austriangooner1 Think this is also why someone like Mainoo looks better playing 1st team football than he did in the academy.

Funny seeing the Bukayo 15yo clips bc they back up something I’ve been thinking about this week. You can have tighter control, be quicker, create better separation 1v1 but the ability to ride contact has FAR better transferability to the next level (vs someone who always evades contact) Scaling impact absorption VS a new world of getting hit

@scoutingindoors @AkzAfc @SionDeFreitas Maybe, but think Annous in particular needs goals. His all-round, link-up, hold-up play are the best parts of his game already. And it's not as though the youth sides he's been a part of have been particularly successful/dominant. Not adverse to a Luton loan at all tho

After Andre Annous, the best scholar this season. I'm very intrigued to see what we do with him next season 🙏🏾 (I'm not really counting Salmon, he's basically 1st team)

Big fan of Matheus Fernandes and think he’d be a great fit under Arteta, but: Even with how versatile he is, do we actually need him?

@alexfrco Yea attacking midfield is where things get dicey. I think one of Øde or Ethan has to leave. Merino might stay as a squad player. Eze, Ø/Eth and Dowman sharing minutes at AM? It's a tricky one. PSG actually don't really have any out-and-out AMs

@Squarehead3331 does mean losing a bit of defensive depth since one of Hincapié and Cala is technically the LCB backup, but I think that's fine. flexible players are good.

stock rising and falling rapidly on Myles as a central midfielder, no idea what to think any more. I had forgotten Mikel Merino exists because in my mind he's our second best striker, so MLS/Zubi/Rice/Fernandes with Merino able to cover three positions still feels ok.

@billycarpy Thoughts on Alex Scott for us? I'm intrigued but not sure he's as polished as Fernandes

My very first impulse was to see if Matheus Fernandes had logged any minutes at RB. (He hasn't.) Will do a study session when the time is right.

@riteshwriter Wait for the property damage from the parade. £2.5m will look like nothing. I myself will be responsible for that much in damage. We'll topple Big Ben when we reach it

@riteshwriter David Lynch might not've been so adept at dissecting Americana if he wasn't (at one point, at least) a conservative.
