It is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from professional squash. This day is inevitable but what a journey it has been! I am grateful to my team who stood by me, my sponsors and everyone along the way.

This is a pertinent article for squash right now. Players telling referees 'you're a joke' is all too common nowadays, particularly considering the referees aren't paid big £s. You may disagree with a call (that's why you can challenge), but show respect. theguardian.com/sport/2023/jul…
