@LilySuits This base was a small project I took on to help pay for my new 3d printer; I have two other projects that need to be finished, but I’d totally be down after that! I love the design !

@SqueakyWuff Are you open for custom bases right now? I’d love to get one of my character for a personal suit!!

@Bunnyfootato This guide was helpful !

@SqueakyWuff Are you looking to buy the super big Arcanine plushie? xP
English

@TheGoldenMaw Thanks! Think I might go with the p2s, so trying to figure out what all I should add to cart to cover everything I might need at first
English

@SqueakyWuff Pla+ or regular pla can work great too if you get a quality kind(bambu again lol) and also dry and store it properly
English

@TheGoldenMaw What kind of filament would you suggest for noses, eye blanks, etc?
English

@SqueakyWuff because tpu is stupid easy to glue together with hot glue so don’t worry about that unless you also want to do hard plastic bases. Go for the HF tpu filament from bambu as well because the quality is great and they have the presets for it already programmed.
English

@TheGoldenMaw I’ve only seen this mentioned like once or twice in my research the last few days, so thank you for confirming!
English

@SqueakyWuff Ope and lots of ppl fail to mention tpu needs to be properly dried and stored so you’ll want a nice dryer box as well, I have this one that holds two spools and you can print directly from the box so its great for keeping tpu dry a.co/d/0ae72LYX

No need for it to be enclosed really. But if you enclosed without it taking a ton of space (since you are in an apartment) look at the Bambu lab P2S. Upgraded nozzle swapping system which is like the A1 series is a huge upgrade from the P1S. Ask any questions I print a variety of materials and own a print farm 😊 us.store.bambulab.com/products/p2s?i… no need for the combo unless you want to print multicolor. If you are focusing on just TPU or printing one color at a time save the money and skip the combo just get the printer itself.
English

@Latinvixen Thanks for the reply! Printing in a small apartment, should I consider one that is enclosed?
English

@SqueakyWuff If you are new to it and want a printer that works well and not a huge learning curve, look at the Bambulab A1.
English

@SqueakyWuff I’d say Bambu H2S is probably what you’d want! (I have a Bambu H2S, Elegoo Neptune 3 plus and max, and Qidi plus 4)
For head bases aim for a minimum build plate of 300mmx300mm
English

@WildFoxWorks Is it much trouble slicing into parts and putting together ?
English

@SqueakyWuff i'd say minimum 300x300mm build plate, 250x250 is slightly too small unless you wanna slice the base into parts
English

@WildFoxWorks Is there a specific one you would recommend? Would probably have to be enclosed as I have a small apartment. Thank you for commenting!
English

@SqueakyWuff bambulab and elegoo handle tpu really well and both print high quality for other parts too
