Being most of the updates only sided for cosmetics rather than gameplay change or trying to bring sometimes something new.

And for the upcoming characters some of them have a chance because there isn't almost any progress on them, and due to some being on limbo state it might get scrapped

King was VERY likely to be scrapped simply because of his size. hell, even back in early 2025 when I was playing with friends and we learned that King was planned we were saying to eachother "theres no way he'd work"
