@catturd2 Two 18-wheelers got into a huge accident on Toll Road 49 in Tyler, TX today. One was going East and he drifted into oncoming traffic. So the truck going West had no where to go and was hit head on. The driver of the truck that drifted into the other lane died.

. @MargoinWNC, here is my response to your assertion that what I said a few weeks back, that Indian CEO's are capturing, being embedded, and becoming more prevalent in the US tech-based corporations, and instituting a practice of a part of the great replacement, and you calling what I said a blanket statement. This list is currently the most comprehensive compilation of US-based companies with Indian CEOs. I've also included US corporations that have Chinese and/or CCP CEOs. Also, I've included their H-1B petitions for the last 10 years, which have yielded fascinating insights. 1. The H-1B petitions are going up. 2. AI is going to drive a majority of these petitions, and the pool of candidates is extremely limited right now. 3. China is producing ~1.5 million engineers a year. Not all will be tech-based, but they will be relegated to the CCP. This is a problem. 4. It costs roughly $12k per H-1B to sponser. Vastly cheaper than hiring or keeping an American worker. 5. There is an H-1B cap currently of 85K workers, which is 65k workers and 20K advanced degree H-1B entrants. But there have been nearly 1 million H-1B petitions. 6. Loopholes exist in the H-1B system based on classifications of skills that can be exploited. Companies can create job descriptions that are so narrow and specific that they perfectly match the resume of a preferred foreign candidate. This can make it difficult for highly qualified American workers with slightly different or broader skill sets to be considered a perfect match for the role. 7. Some companies may classify an H-1B employee at a lower wage level than their responsibilities would suggest, allowing them to legally offer a lower salary than a more experienced U.S. worker might demand for the same role. 8. The Lottery Registration Fraud - The amount of outright H-1B fraud in skirting the caps with loopholes and criminal means is another issue. During the Biden admin, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) changed the H-1B lottery from a system requiring a full, expensive petition to a simple $10 online registration. This lowered the barrier to entry, which some companies exploited. How? Loophole exploited - A group of colluding companies would work together to submit the same candidate or beneficiary into the lottery multiple times under different company names. Exploitation configured - While it's illegal for one company to submit the same person multiple times, this coordinated effort created a fraudulent advantage. For example, if 10 companies each submitted the same candidate, that person had 10 chances of being selected, while a candidate submitted legitimately by a single company had only one chance. Consequences - In 2023/2024, USCIS discovered massive fraud, showing that some candidates had submitted applications over 80 times each. This led to widespread petition denials, criminal investigations, and a fundamental change in the lottery system.. Starting this year, the lottery is now a beneficiary-centric system. Meaning each person is entered only once, regardless of how many companies submit them. 9. More Loopholes - A significant loophole involves cap-exempt employers. These are organizations that are not subject to the 85,000 annual H-1B cap, such as universities and colleges, non-profit organizations affiliated with universities, and government research organizations. How the loophole works - An H-1B worker can be sponsored by a cap-exempt university, even for a part-time job. Once that worker is officially approved and in the system, they are considered cap-counted. How that is exploited - A private, for-profit tech company can then hire that same person concurrently for another job. Because the worker's primary status is with the cap-exempt employer, the for-profit company does not need to enter the H-1B lottery to hire them. This strategy is often used by startups and companies in university-affiliated research parks to bypass the lottery system entirely. 10. A more serious H-1B exploitation problem comes from the IT Outsourcing Business Model and how it's manipulated. Here's how. The Loophole - There is no legal limit to how many applications a single large company can submit to the lottery. H-1B dependent companies (where over 15% of the workforce is on H-1Bs) have some additional requirements, but they can still submit a massive volume of petitions. The Exploitation - Large IT consulting and outsourcing firms have a business model that relies on a large pool of foreign IT workers. They flood the H-1B lottery with tens of thousands of applications for their consultants. A significant critique is that this manipulation of the program's intent undermines its original purpose: to enable a US company to fill a specific, specialized role, rather than importing a general IT workforce for third-party clients, which often displaces their American workers. I would appreciate your thoughts on whether this has changed your perspective and your statement that I was making a blanket accusation in my initial statement about these companies with foreign influences at the C-Suite levels.

I have no idea whose cat this is, nobody around me seems to know. He is friendly but very thin. The last month he has been waiting at my front door or under a nearby bush/car and follows me when I get home. I’ve taken to feeding him as his bones/ rib cage are showing. Today when I got home after food shopping he ran up to me meowing loudly so I let him in as the weather was pants. After some food, he decided to lie down on my bed. Think I may have been adopted?!

It drives me crazy when people ask me if I did anything exciting over the weekend…….like I’m over here skydiving. I’m old. I went to Walmart, did some laundry, cleaned the house, watched TV, ate too much food, and took a nap!😂

England did this to themselves. Their beautiful Cathedrals were once packed with believers and many stand empty now. To win back your country and great culture you will need to get back to worship so then Jesus will help restore you and give you back your country from yours and his enemies. I went to England and Northern Ireland with my church to help boost membership for local pastors. I was saddened by their secular attitudes towards faith as we tried to pass out pamphlets to invite them to the church. You know what you need to do England and you can't defeat Evil without Christ.
