The other was hidden in the files and the dev never disclosed that he was secretly connecting your game to an unsecured server giving him access to your game.

WTTG2 it was hidden within the game itself as a backdoor and never disclosed and you couldn’t opt out of it.

@Iddelf @KSM66666 @AnInternetDevil @JohnWolfeYT @AyalithPTO To clarify, the dev’s backdoor access to everyone’s game was not disclosed to the public and you could not opt out and it being an offline single player game he debatably hid malware in his game until he removed that feature after people found out and he received backlash.
