@MattWalshBlog My favorite criticism is when they say you think video games are satanic. But you have videos of you playing video games like GTA on YouTube. That'd be like you recording yourself performing a satanic ritual in their mind.

The issue is that people tend to pay more attention to my critiques, and then they blame me for only having critiques. I said one jokey thing about anime like three years ago and people still do podcasts and write think pieces about it to this day. Then I replied in one sentence to one tweet about anime like a week ago and YouTubers did entire livestreams about it. I'm not joking. Gamers are constantly bitching at me for "complaining about video games" when I've probably spent all of five minutes, cumulatively, saying anything negative about video games over the past five years. I barely ever talk about it. There's like a thousand times more commentary about my video game commentary than there is actual video game commentary. This is how it goes.

This is one of the dumbest criticisms of me (and there are a lot). I hear all the time that I only ever complain about things, especially things in arts and culture. But the reality is that I actually talk about the things I like all the time. I probably do that more than most people in this space. Just last night I was posting about a random book I found interesting. This weekend I recommended a short story that I love (and talked about it on my show). I talk about the movies I like. I've done videos recommending films, listing my favorite musicians, discussing random subjects I find fascinating. You'd actually be hard pressed to find many conservative commentators who do more of that kind of thing than I do. As for solutions, I've spent years of my life making films with my team. Our last one debuted top 5 in the box office. I don't just talk about this stuff. I try to go out and do it myself. Again, there are hardly any commentators in the space who can say that. A few but only a few.

Let me add this, from the jump, so there’s NO confusion. I started in this movement as a candidate during the Tea Party movement, and I began my political commentary career shortly thereafter.
