I gave our canvassers a debrief, then I went to chat with the second vehicle. They were definitely together.
This van was completely blacked out, and it was obvious that they were talking to each other about me.
He quoted his partner when I said he was an RCMP officer.... "That's not what he told you". He was not happy that I was recording him, but he was more talkative that the other guy.
His story was that they were investigating a U-Haul.
So why did the first guy record me instead of just telling me why they were there?

Another weird incident today.
Another volunteer is using my pop-up along highway 1A. He texted me just as I was heading downtown to do my call-in show on the @WesternStandar1
"Something odd happening here. There are two mini vans sitting with eyes on me. One in xxxxx' old spot, and one in the field approach 100 yds east. Both have been here for more than half an hour. "
I got that message at 12:10 pm, and dispatched another volunteer to join them.
I told them I would swing by on my way back around 3:00 pm.
I mentioned the two vans in my show.

The outcry against the Chief’s trip is from some of the same people who celebrated Oct 7, or from those who give little or no thought to a visit or vacation in totalitarian countries like Cuba or China. Chief is free to travel, just like his critics do.
